The event that showcases products from 35 different countries, Expocomer, returns this year to give Panamanian businessmen the opportunity to make alliances with foreign commercial partners from more than 1,000 companies.
This year Expocomer will take place in the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama City from Wednesday 17 to Saturday April 20.
The fair is organized by the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and has an exhibition space of 14,000 square meters.
Now in its 31st edition, Expocomer shows companies from around the world Panama’s tax advantages and the benefits of doing business in one of the strongest economies in Latin America.
Additionally there is going to be an economic forum at Expocomer called: “Exploring New Opportunities for the Region,” that will be held simultaneously with the fair.
The main speakers will be from the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) with its General Secretary, Ambassador Carlo Álvarez and the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Commission (CEPAL) Executive Secretary, Mrs. Alicia Bárcenas.
The economic impact of Expocomer on hotel occupancy is huge and so far has generated 4,000 overnight bookings. Business transactions for around $100 million were made in Expocomer last year and 514 exhibitors participated from 32 countries.
