Laser scanning saves time and money

Josén Premium provides three-dimensional laser scanning, thermographic recording and CAD and BIM modeling for marine, oil and industrial installations.

The company uses laser scanners manufactured by the German company Zoller + Fröhlich (Z + F) leader in the sector and unique in the world, capable of producing explosion proof equipment certified to work in explosive atmospheres.

We generate high-resolution 3D renderings called Point Clouds, which allow us to visualize and navigate the area from our computers. In addition we take measurements with high precision, Point Clouds that can also be associated with a thermographic record, with associated color distribution at the temperature.

Based on the Point Cloud, a CAD Model can be generated, representing the environment in a format compatible with most computerized engineering applications. By enriching the CAD Model with additional technical information (names, identification codes, thicknesses, temperatures, dates, images, planes, among others) we convert the geometric representation into a BIM Model, where the environment is handled by objects associated to a database.

In the maritime area, oil tankers, gas carriers, container ships, bulk carriers, offshore platforms, FPSO vessels, among others, can benefit greatly from our services, which find applications in design modifications, documentation updates, repair and maintenance operations, collision damage reports, live dry dock registration, asset management consultation, mechanical behavior deviation analysis on rotating equipment, thermal insulation and refractory linings, among others.

Our company works with the highest standards of industrial safety and according to a Management System that has allowed us to achieve ISO 27001: 2013 Certification for Information Security, issued by the prestigious international organization, Bureau Veritas. Likewise, by the middle of 2017, ISO 9001 Certification is planned for the Quality of Service.
