This year, the Institute of Culture (INAC) and the National Ballet of Panama are dressing up to present “The Nutcracker,” an artistic delight that combines a wonderful score with a story to dream about, to the point of making viewers feel they have again become children.
Those familiar with the work should not miss it from December 27 until 29 at the Teatro Anayansi in the ATLAPA Convention Center at 8:00 p.m., on the three days.
Panamanians will enjoy this holiday classic “The Nutcracker” ballet work in two acts, which is a worldwide tradition.
“The Nutcracker” tells the story of Clara, a girl who on Christmas Eve receives a nutcracker gift and has a dream of Christmas.
For the staging of “The Nutcracker” there are guests such as the international dancers David Makhateli, principal dancer of the Royal Ballet of London, Nino Gogua, and Z. Tbillisi, solo dancer of the State Opera and the Paliashvili Ballet Theatter of Georgia, among others. It also features the participation of renowned national ballet dancer Alexa Gutierrez, first figure of the National Ballet.
The presentation is under the artistic direction of Maestro Peter Martin Boza and the musical direction of Maestro Jorge Ledezma Bradley, director of the National Symphony Orchestra who has to his credit more than 550 symphonic concerts in different latitudes and a career of more than 30 years.
The work will be the delight of all the family.
On December 29, all attendees will enjoy two hours of the holiday classic, a remarkable work for which tickets can be obtained through ticket plus at Metro Pharmacy, Extremadura Planet, Hometek, and Digicel Stores for $ 10 general admission.
