The Latin America and Caribbean Airports Paving Association (ALACPA) held its ninth seminar in Panama, which was a success.
The closing dinner was held at the Hotel El Panama on September 12, where foreign and local attendees were given a country folk presentation of the different types of typical events at Las Tablas during carnivals. This dinner was sponsored by the administration of the Tocumen Airport.
ALACPA is a nonprofit association that brings together organizations, professionals and companies in the airport industry. It has a long history from 2002 and has successfully held seminars and training sessions for professionals in this field in countries such as Peru, Mexico, the United States, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil.
During its previous seminar in Argentina, Tocumen International Airport proposed Panama City to host the IX Seminar. The proposal was accepted by the ALACPA general assembly and approved by its Board of Directors.
This major international event gave Tocumen a high degree of responsibility to satisfactorily resolve quality with its procedures and having qualified personnel of international standard to interact with international companies.
