“With six years in the Panamanian market, Banco Delta, proudly shows that we are the number one bank in microfinance, with an excess of $100 million in deposits,” said Gina de Saenz, vice president and general manager of the bank.
Her comments were made at a press conference on Tuesday, October 9, where she emphasized that this bank has been accepted into the ´action network´, the umbrella entity of microfinance organizations in the world that are important to create and foster the microfinance industry in a collaborative way.
“In addition, our rating was upgraded from stable to positive”, according to Gina de Saenz, who also has been appointed as vice president of the microfinance network.
Banco Delta has positioned itself as the most important entity in Panama microfinance with a comprehensive range of products and services to support the growth of a segment of the population that has not been served by traditional banking.
“Fulfilling its corporate social responsibility program, Delta Bank can report with satisfaction that it provided free training to more than 600 artisans from across the country who have worked for 15 years, and the bank accompanied them as a sponsor of the National Crafts Fair, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance,” said de Saenz.
