Maersk looks cautiously at containerized maritime transport forecast for 2018

Maersk Line has assured that international transport tariffs are reversing after rising for most of this year, raising questions about the sustainability of the recovery of world trade, Bloomberg has reported.

Global idle fleet reduced in face of increased vessel demand

Recovery and sustained average growth in volume of 3.2% for international trade is seen over the next few years, until 2025, reveals the study “Review of Maritime Transport 2017” published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on October 25.
