Contract signed for new convention center

Jairzon Hurtado, of the Consortium HPC-contratas P & V with the Minister of Tourism, Salon Shamah, signed the tender for best value and highest evaluation for design, equipping and construction of the new Convention Center in Amador.

The value of the work specified is for $193,750,000.01

This consortium is composed of the Panamanian Construction Hispano SA (HPC), P & V Construction, Inc., Architectural Engineering and Construction Solutions, SICSA SA,, Quality Construction Services SA and Panama Branch of Heliopol S.A.

The act took place on October 15 at the Amphitheatre of the Presidency in the presence of the tourism sector and Deputy Administrator of the ATP Orillac and Jaime Campuzano, where the Minister Salo Shamah said he expected 2013 to be full of activities with new marketing strategies.
