The Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Regional Planning Department presented on Friday August 10 the
technical specifications and project management plan for the implementation of the paperless process for the country’s municipalities. The project summary of the Munet e-Government of Panama program emerged with the view that municipalities can improve their efficiency and transparency, culture, and social work, through an evolutionary process using technology through a municipal website with information on accounting systems, financial management, human resources and tourism, ensuring effective care and quality. This is why the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), the National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) signed an interagency agreement with the aim of supporting the National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) on matters relating to the development of e-Government MuNet of the OAS.
