Expo Logística breaks record – generates business worth $45 m

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) confirmed that the results of the sixth version of Expo Logistica Panama 2012 exceeded expectations and the results of 2011.

Expo Logistica Panama is conducted in conjunction with the National Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) to create growth of the logistics industry, which contributes 24.1 % of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

In its sixth edition, the exhibition had more than 8,000 visitors in its exhibition area of 5.360 m², attended by about 150 local and foreign companies distributed in more than 240 modules, conducting 3.738 business contacts.

Expo Logistica Panama in its 2012 version created transactions to the order of $ 4.5 million, an increase of 50% compared to 2011.
