The Consul of Panama in Istanbul, Turkey, Mario Julio, visited the Colon Free Zone to learn more about the business activities carried out in the zone.
Consul Julio said that these visits are helpful because he has acquired a broad knowledge of how the Colon Free Zone operates, taking with him an impression of all these commercial activities taking place within this sector.
“This will be multiplied in Turkey by having future customers for the country,” said the Consul.
In the area of tourism, in 2011 Turkey had an investment of $23,000 million and 31,000 visitors arrived in the country.
In Turkey after the 2002 economic crisis, the country has entered the sixth level of exporters in Europe, with rolling stock, agricultural marketing and building materials.
This visitor was received by the Director of Marketing, Sonia Anton, who explained the commercial movement, social work and how to set up a company within the perimeter of the Colon Free Zone.
