Southern Air is adding two new Boeing 777 freighters to its fleet.

With these additions, the carrier’s fleet will include four B777F aircraft, the world’s largest and most advanced twin-engine freighter.

Southern Air has already taken delivery of its third and fourth planes.The new aircraft will be dedicated to DHL Express for its new round-the-world service from Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Leipzig and back to Hong Kong.

Southern Air CEO Daniel McHugh said, “The addition of two new 777Fs to our fleet is another critical step forward in the transformation of Southern Air and our long-term fleet enhancement program.”
