The representative of the Diplomatic Mission for the teaching of English and Director of the Regional Office of English Language of the US Embassy in Panama, Rick Rosenberg, visited the Panama International Maritime University (UMIP).

Rosenberg’s objective was also to formally present himself to the UMIP authorities, to show his full availability to support the management carried out by this house of higher learning for the benefit of skills and development in the English language.


Cadets carry out internship at the UMIP

UMIP and QMS sign agreement for internship

A cooperation agreement has been signed by the Panama International Maritime University (UMIP) and the company Quality Marine Surveyors, Inc. (QMS) to foster professional internships of benefit to cadets and students of the UMIP.

Registration begins for UMIP academic year 2015

The Panama International Maritime University (UMIP) began on June 2, the 2015 Student Admission Process.

The Admission includes two enrollment periods, the first starting on June 2 and ending on September 5, while the second enrollment period will run from October 6 to December 12.
