Actress Files Lawsuit Alleging Ex-Husband Refuses to Return Children to Their Home Country
As reported, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner has filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband Joe Jonas in an attempt to bring their two young daughters back to England.
In legal documents obtained, Turner alleges that Jonas has been withholding their daughters’ passports and refusing to send the children home after an agreed visit to the US. The actress claims that she and Jonas met last Sunday to discuss their separation plans, where it was confirmed the girls would return to England on Wednesday of last week.
However, Jonas allegedly did not put the children on their flight as planned. Turner has now taken legal action under international child abduction laws, arguing that as their primary residence is in England, keeping the children in the US against her wishes is a breach of her parental rights.
